A plan that recalibrates with you

A personalized AI nutrition plan that changes when you do

A spreadsheet nutrition plan is calculated once and stays put, even when your weight, your training or your week change. Biokode’s plan starts from the same science (Mifflin-St Jeor, protein in g/kg) and then recalibrates with your real data.

You pick the goal and the pace. The app gives you calories, macros and micronutrients made for you and adjusts them when your progress calls for it. No fixed menus, no mandatory recipes: you eat your food and the plan adapts.

What a living plan looks like

Kodi’s two daily messages plus one question from you, with real data from the app:

Kodi
(In the morning, when you open the app.)
“Morning 🐼 Today: 2,100 kcal and 140 g of protein. You closed yesterday on target and your average weight is dropping 0.3 kg a week, exactly the pace you chose. The plan stays as is.”
(At night, day close.)
“Day close: 1,980 kcal, 128 g of protein and 27 micronutrients covered except magnesium. A handful of almonds tomorrow sorts it out.”
My weight has been the same for two weeks. Should I cut calories further?
“Your average weight has been flat for two weeks on about 2,100 kcal, so your real expenditure is around that number. We drop to 1,900 kcal, keep the 140 g of protein and review in two weeks.”

What your plan includes

Your plan is built from your age, height, weight, activity level, goal and the pace you choose. Everything it returns is concrete and in grams:

  • Target calories: your estimated expenditure plus the goal adjustment (a deficit to lose fat, a small surplus to build muscle, or maintenance).
  • Pace of your choice: gentle, moderate or intensive. The plan sets safety floors so no pace drops below a sensible calorie minimum.
  • Protein in g/kg of body weight for your goal, using evidence-based bands rather than a fixed percentage.
  • Fat and carbs split by your diet type (Mediterranean, low-fat, paleo, vegetarian, vegan or keto).
  • 27 micronutrients against EFSA reference values, so you see what you are actually missing, not just how many calories you have had.

Adaptive TDEE: the plan recalibrates with your weight and meals

The first number comes from Mifflin-St Jeor, the standard formula. It is a good starting point, but it is a population average: for you it can be off by 200 or 300 kcal. That is why Biokode does not stop there.

As you log meals and weight, the app compares what you eat with how your average weight moves and estimates your real expenditure. When the gap is clear, it adjusts your calorie target. Automatic adjustments are small and bounded: never a 500 kcal swing because of one odd week.

If you want a bigger change, ask Kodi and it applies it. You decide; the data informs.

Sticking to it without weighing every gram

A plan only works if logging is easy. So the input is as light as possible:

  • Photo of the plate: AI estimates ingredients and portions and returns calories, macros and micros.
  • Voice or text: "two scrambled eggs with wholegrain toast and a latte" and it is counted.
  • Barcode scanner for packaged products.
  • Estimated portions are flagged; fixing them is one tap and what you say wins.

Kodi: two messages a day, not one more

Kodi, Biokode’s coach, opens and closes your day. In the morning it reminds you of today’s plan and how you are doing; at night it closes with your balance and what is up tomorrow. In between, it answers when you write. No alerts at random hours, no pressure notifications.

Prefer zero mascot? Data-only mode keeps the same plan, the Bio Score and the trends behind the sober interface of a metrics dashboard.

Who it is for (and who it is not for)

Healthy adults who want to lose fat, build muscle or maintain with a plan that does not go stale by week two. It works the same whether you train five days a week or just walk.

It does not replace a nutritionist or a doctor. If you have a medical condition, an eating disorder or are pregnant, talk to a professional first; Biokode stays in the territory of habits.

Frequently asked questions

Is it a diet with recipes and fixed menus?

No. It gives you daily targets (calories, macros, micronutrients) and helps you hit them with your usual food. If you want ideas, Kodi suggests what to add or drop, but it never imposes a menu.

How often does the plan change?

When your data calls for it. The app checks the relationship between what you eat and your average weight and adjusts calories in small, bounded steps. A big change only happens if you ask for it.

Does it work for building muscle as well as losing fat?

Yes. The goal sets the adjustment: a deficit to lose fat, a small surplus to build muscle, maintenance to keep what you have built. Protein is calculated in g/kg in all three cases.

Do I need a wearable?

No. With meals and weight the plan already recalibrates. A wearable adds sleep, steps and workouts, and with them the weekly analysis has more context.

What if I skip the plan for a week?

Nothing dramatic. The plan works with averages, not single days. Log what you can, the calculation absorbs the rough week and you carry on.

Does it give medical advice?

No. Biokode does not diagnose or treat. It works with habits, food and general training for healthy adults and points you to a professional when something falls outside that ground.
